Built by People Who Had Retyped Too Many Statements
We build BSC for bookkeepers, accountants, small business owners and anyone else who needs transactions in a spreadsheet, not a PDF. You upload a statement, check every row in a preview and download the result.
What We Set Out to Fix
Copying a statement out of a PDF gives you one long column of text. Generic converters give you the right numbers in the wrong cells. Either way, someone ends up checking every figure by hand.
So our Bank Statement Converter reads a statement the way a person does: it looks at where each figure sits under the headings, keeps the bank's own column names, works out the date order once for the whole document, and then checks every row against the printed running balance. If the rows add up, you know the spreadsheet is right before you open it.
How We Handle Your Statement
Files are deleted about an hour after upload, never used to train anything, and the converted table itself is never stored.
Who We Are
Three dedicated founders: one with a background in accounting, two who build the product. We are not affiliated with any bank, and BSC is not an accounting product: it gets the numbers out of the PDF so your accounting software, or your accountant, can take it from there.
Questions, ideas, a bank whose statements we get wrong? Let us know.
